Fitness for everyone

Fitness activities for young and old and for every level

Fitness programs are specially tailored to meet each member's needs. We offer a wide array of classes and programs ranging from the popular Sit-To-Be-Fit classes for seniors to the exciting tumbling classes for pre-schoolers.

Our well-educated, certified, registered personnel provide clients with what they need to reach and maintain healthy life-styles.

Fitness activities

Strictly Strength
This 30-minute, total-body strength workout is a great way to start your day!

Low Impact/Combo
This class is designed for all fitness levels. Easy-to-follow aerobic dance movements can be performed at a lower level or safely pumped up to a higher intensity workout on our sport court floor. Toning is included in every class.

Strength Training
This fitness activity involves strength training to upbeat music with a fitness instructor. Included are total body conditioning and higher repetition weight training that work major muscle groups.

Pilates Body
This activity is a progressive series of floor movements to strengthen the core muscles of the abdomen, lower back and pelvic area. It's good for increasing strength, flexibility and balance of the entire body while focusing on breathing and mindful movement.

Step Combo
Here is the place to combine cardiovascular and strength training! Step aerobic intervals mixed with intervals of muscle conditioning is sure to battle boredom!

Sit to Be Fit
This activity is designed for those wanting to remain active and enjoy a complete, non-impact workout. We utilize a combination of aerobic activity and toning exercises—all done while sitting in a chair!

T'ai Chi
This Chinese martial art emphasizes fluidity, circular motion and a strong base of support in the legs. It is designed to circulate the body's energy, improve focus and reduce stress.

Yoga
This discipline is based on the Hatha method and teaches specific postures and breathing techniques to increase flexibility, muscle tone, balance and harmony in a meditative atmosphere.

Step & Strength Training
This activity includes step aerobic routines followed by a strength-training segment to tone and firm.

Spinning for Cyclists
Here's an indoor group cycling activity that combines basic cycling movements with motivational coaching techniques. It's great training for outdoor cyclists!

Boot Camp
Increase strength, stamina, speed and agility in this intense class. Take the challenge!

Short-n-Sweet
Here's 30 minutes of high-intensity cardiovascular conditioning followed by 30 minutes of hard-core strength training.

Masters Swim
This aquatic training class improves stroke techniques, speed and fitness levels and incorporates new skills learned learned in your individual swimming program.

Shape up with Shannon
This indoor/outdoor cross-training class incorporates cardiovascular conditioning, strength training and stretching. Fun and variety are the keys to sticking with your fitness regime!

Triathlon Training
Bike, run and swim in a group setting to motivate you to achieve your personal goals. Class members will participate in the Capitol of Texas Triathlon in Austin.

H20 Aerobics
Good morning early birds! This high-intensity water aerobic class will jump-start your day. Toning included.

Warm-Water Endurance
This warm-water class promotes improved cardiovascular health with constant, low-level aerobic movement.

H20 Workout
This class combines a variety of aerobic movements with intervals of resistance training. Water noodles, aqua dumbbells and resistance bands are used to challenge participants.

Water Walking Circuit
Working against the water current, members of this class walk in different patterns and at different paces to increase intensity. Toning is included in every class.

Arthritis Therapy
This warm water class is designed for those with arthritis who want to control pain, improve mobility, flexibility and general movement.

Cardio Aquatics
This cardiovascular and toning class is for clients who have had or are at risk for cardiac problems. Vital signs are taken before and after each class.

Swim Team & After-School Swim
These two youth swim programs practice Monday-Friday from 4-5:30 p.m. Sign up for a group at the front desk.

Tumbling
Here's an activity just for kids! Floor gymnastics and balance beam drills improve coordination, strength and flexibility. There are beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.
